Connect: Resound Learning Festival

Exploring & celebrating online music education

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the Connect: Resound Learning Festival…an exploration and a celebration of the music education sector’s diverse approaches to online learning. The learning festival included live and on demand content across four themed strands: Teaching Music Online; Making Music Online; Creating and Curating Online Music Experiences, and The Future of Online Music Education. Many of the presentations and videos from the festival are now available on this site for anyone who wants to rewatch or dip into the rich content our presenters created.

The past year has been a year of huge challenge and exploration for the sector and we designed this learning festival to offer us all the opportunity to come together, share learning, celebrate success and explore next steps. We will continue to explore ways of sharing and celebrating good practice in online music education.

Each day included participatory webinars and interactive workshops linked to the day’s overarching theme. In the evenings we offered linked creative and wellbeing-focused activities.
